A winner is somebody who has given his best effort, who has tried the hardest they possibly can, who has utilized every ounce of energy and strength within them to accomplish something. It doesn’t mean that they accomplished it or failed, it means that they’ve given it their best. That’s a winner.”

Simona Halep deserves so much praise and respect for her performance in this Roland Garros final. She fought brilliantly—to the point that the casual fan would never know this was her first Major final. I hope there are big things in Simona’s future, as her tennis is a joy to watch, and her mentality is commendable as well.

What a great final, attack (sharapova) vs defence (halep), ugly grit (sharapova) vs smooth and sylish (halep). I really love watching Halep play, she’s so talented and everything about her game is so pleasing on the eye (her strokes and the way she moves around the court). Sharapova is obnoxious as fuck i really didn’t want her to win smh.
